English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is the official language of 53 countries and spoken by around 400 million people across the globe. Being able to speak English is not just about being able to communicate with native English speakers, it is the most common second language in the world. 
In SGU, we use English as the medium of instructions during the teaching and learning process. We believe that being fluent in using English is crucial nowadays, especially if we want to achieve global success.
Therefore, SGU organizes the biggest and the most spectacular English olympics in Indonesia. We hoped that through this competition, SGU can encourage the young generation to push themselves to improve their English skills.
